The crowning moment went to Sam Lindamood and Chelsea Buirley as the 2006 Tri-Village Homecoming King & Queen.

The night would turn out to be extra special for senior Sam Lindamood as he showed his royalty once more in the rematch with National Trail. In their first meeting Sam erupted for 30 points only to top it on this evening with 31 points

Sam would put an exclamation point on the evening with two dunks the final one being a thunderous two handed jam. “All hail to the King Slammin Sam”.

Tri-Village took a first quarter lead 18-12 and extended the lead to 30-20 at the half.

National Trail came out to play in the second half and when Kevin Brower sank a trey at the 2:59 mark and followed up with a jumper NT trailed by just 3 points 34-31. The 1-3-1 trap the Blazers played in the quarter slowed down the Patriot offense giving them an opportunity to get back into the game. Sam Lindamood quickly dispelled any thoughts of spoiling the T-V homecoming as he closed out the quarter with a 3-pointer and a spectacular reverse lay-up off a missed shot from Mark Wheeler and T-V closed the third with a 39-31 lead.

In the final stanza the Patriots picked up their defensive intensity to shut down the Blazers as they closed out homecoming with a 54-36 victory.
