November 2004 New Madison, Ohio
The Tri-Village Lady Patriots will be returning quite a bit of experience from a team that went 14-9 overall and 9-2 with a third place finish in the conference last year. There are 3 returning starters (Heather Deaton, Olivia Frazier and Brennan Moore) as well as letter winner and backup guard Mary Skidmore. These 4 girls should all be starters for this year’s team. Also returning is Karli Dill, Mollie Shane and Brittney Bailey with some varsity experience. In addition to these girls are sophomore Kaley Stahl and freshman Tina Allison rounding out the varsity roster.
Olivia Frazier and Brennan Moore were first team CCC performers last year and Heather Deaton was first team 2 years ago. Olivia was the leading scorer last year (10.9), Heather was the leading rebounder (6.9), and Brennan was the leader in assists (6.6). They will be complimented with excellent ball handling and defense from Mary Skidmore and the outside shooting of Karli Dill. Tina Allison, Kaley Stahl and Brittney Bailey add size and quickness to the lineup with Mollie Shane providing senior leadership.
With all this experience, depth and quality of players the Lady Patriots are looking for an exciting and competitive season. The team has put a lot of time in during the off-season and hopefully will remain healthy to give the TV fans enjoyment this winter.
