November 2005 New Madison, Ohio
The Tri-Village Lady Patriots finished 2004-05 with an overall record of 17-6, 9-2 in the conference for a third place finish. They advanced to the sectional finals before bowing out to a strong Covington team.
Gone are Heather Deaton, Brennan Moore, Olivia Frazier and Mary Skidmore. Heather & Brennan have continued their careers playing at Urbana University.
For the 2005-06 season the team will have to find a way to replace the experience of 4 seasoned players. Returning players with experience are seniors Karli Dill and sophomore Tina Allison. The two combined provided 20 points a game last year. Karli and Tina are an outside/inside duo.
Senior’s Brittney Bailey and Krystal Barton will help the team with solid play inside. The only junior on the team is Kaley Stahl who is a versatile player that can go inside or out. Three sophomores will also contribute this year, running the offense at the point guard spot will be Addie Overfield. Kassie Fisherback will give the team another threat from the outside and Amelia Frazier will be a role player helping out the team where needed.
The Lady Patriots have tradition on their side and should be competitive and fun to watch again this year.
Good Luck and Go Patriots!
