The Lady Patriots after having a week off was back in action tonight hosting the Lady Railroaders.
T-V got off to a fast start racing out to a 16-5 first quarter lead. Kayla Linkous put up 11 points from the inside while Kaila Burns scored 5 from the outside.
In the second period Teha Richards scored 4 points to lead the Patriots who put up 10 to go up 26-10 at the half.
The Railroaders were really no match on the night as they struggled to find a way to score against the Patriots man-to-man defense. T-V put up 19 points in the third quarter, as Bradford had no answer. Hillary Frech sank two treys, Burns one trey and Linkous 6 points inside.
The final stanza played out with the outcome well in-hand with just the final score to be determined. Hallie Mikesell scored 6 points off the bench to lead the way as T-V recorded a 57-27-league win.
The win raises Tri-Village record to 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference. T-V has a big game on Saturday as they travel to Franklin Monroe in a very important league game.
FM took the Bill Burkett Patriot Tournament championship with a win over the Patriots 60-58 in the second game of the season. Tri-Village will be looking for redemption.
